This policy explains how Hollywood Tortas ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the website at hollywoodtortas.com (the "Site").
The short version
This Site is a simple informational page about our food truck. We do not run ads, we do not sell data, we have no login or checkout, and we do not ask you for any personal information. There are no contact forms on this Site — ordering and catering enquiries happen in person at the truck or through Instagram.
Information we collect directly
None. The Site has no forms, no accounts, no newsletter signup, and no payment processing. We do not set our own cookies and we do not run analytics software.
Information collected automatically by our host
The Site is hosted by Vercel. Like virtually all web hosts, Vercel automatically records basic technical request data — such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and the time of the request — for security, abuse prevention, and to keep the Site running. We use this only in aggregate, if at all, and we do not use it to identify individual visitors. See Vercel's privacy policy.
Third-party content embedded on this Site
Some parts of the Site load content from other companies. When that content loads, those companies may receive your IP address and may set their own cookies, governed by their privacy policies rather than ours:
- Google Maps — the map on our Find Us section is an embedded Google Map. See Google's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — the Site's typefaces are served by Google Fonts.
- Instagram / Meta — we link to our Instagram profile. We do not embed Instagram content, but if you follow a link you are subject to Instagram's privacy policy.
We also link to two affiliated businesses, Synergy Auto Center and Synergy Auto Appraisals. Those are separate websites with their own privacy practices.
If you message us on Instagram
If you contact us by direct message to place an order or ask about catering, we will see the information you choose to send (such as your name, order details, and event information). We use it only to respond to you and fulfil your request. Those messages live on Instagram's platform and are also subject to Instagram's policies.
Children
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — including under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) — you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information a business holds about you, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not maintain a database of visitor information. If you believe we hold information about you and want it addressed, contact us using the details below.
Do Not Track
We do not track you across websites, so there is nothing for a Do Not Track signal to disable on our end.
Changes to this policy
If we add features that change what we collect — an online ordering system, for instance — we will update this page and revise the date above.
